  • Not at all — you do not have to be a Christian to seek therapy with Selah Life Therapy, LLC.

At Selah Life Therapy, we support and guide clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life. The practice offers therapy that is informed by Christian values. Faith-based counseling is never required. You are always free to share as much or as little about your spiritual beliefs as you feel comfortable.

Our therapists provide care that is respectful, non-discriminatory, and centered on your goals and wellbeing. Your therapist’s role is to support you, not to convert, persuade, or impose a particular faith perspective.

If you are looking for Christian-integrated counseling, this option is available. If you don’t, your therapist will work with you using evidence-based approaches that align with your preferences and values.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers must provide patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance with an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs, such as medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

    • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you candispute the bill.

    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.

PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT: CMS is authorized to collect the information on this form and any supporting documentation under section 2799B-7 of the Public Health Service Act, as added by section 112 of the No Surprises Act, title I of Division BB of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (Pub. L. 116-260). We need the information on the form to process your request to initiate a payment dispute, verify the eligibility of your dispute for the PPDR process, and determine whether any conflict of interest exists with the independent dispute resolution entity selected to decide your dispute. The information may also be used to: (1) support a decision on your dispute; (2) support the ongoing operation and oversight of the PPDR program; (3) evaluate selected IDR entities’ compliance with program rules. Providing the requested information is voluntary. But failing to provide it may delay or prevent processing of your dispute, or it could cause your dispute to be decided in favor of the provider or facility.

  • Your first therapy session, known as the intake session, is a warm, authentic, and collaborative conversation designed to help you feel comfortable and understood. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you hope to gain, and any questions or concerns you may have. You can expect a mix of guidance and genuine curiosity as we explore your goals, your history, and what support looks like for you. Many people come to therapy wanting relief from stress, anxiety, grief, or old patterns that no longer serve them—others want space for growth, clarity, or healthier relationships. There’s no “right” reason to begin; needing support is enough. We believe therapy is effective when you feel safe, engaged, and open to trying new tools and resources between your sessions. Your first session is the start of this partnership. Our hope is that you leave your session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
